Commission for Private Office

For this project, the client requested a few custom pieces that would be integrated into her new office design. As part of this, I created two custom 24” x15” moss art pieces that were to be placed one above the other. An aged branch used in both pieces created a sense of continuity not only for the moss art pieces, but also a dramatic print of the large oak tree (from another artist). I also created handmade concrete planter with a custom wood stand as a smaller accent piece. The frames and the plant stand were all handmade from oak and stained a dark walnut-like color to tie in with the office furniture. Preserved moss, foliage, wood, and the concrete create a unique combination that blends both natural and a contemporary office design elements in an urban setting.
